Stay-cation Part II - The Zoo

First thing, SugarBear got on the blog and fixed the comments section so anybody should be able to post comments. She's so good with computers.

Last Thursday we all went out to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. We got great looks at the giraffes, elephants, and sea lions.

Stay-cation Part I - The Park

Daycare was closed this week so we got to spend extra time with Miss D. Wednesday she got to go out to a park right around the corner. She didn't so much go down the slide as she shimmied her way up backwards. The afternoon was capped off with a big cup of frozen yogurt, one of her favorites.

Bikini Time!

D broke out her real bikini last weekend. With that belly she may also want to break out her spanx.

Outside Time

What you can't see here are the neighbor's dogs on the other side of the fence. All this girl wants to do is go outside and play with these dogs. Whenever they get barking she points in their direction and yells "Doh!".

Why doesn't our neighbor wear a shirt when he cuts the grass?

Not even a little fall will stop me from going after those dogs.

SugarBear is crazy for walking. And crazy for dogs!

Fix it!!!

Yes, I broke the links. But now they're all fixed! For those that hadn't noticed, all of the pictures in the previous posts should have been clickable... only they weren't. I think this was due to something called 'user error'. A couple of websearches later and everything is all better.

4th of July Parade

Walking is the new crawling! As of Monday we are done with crawling. D has been doing a lot of walking lately, but now she is just out of control. The other night I think she tried to run!

Nana Gail and Papa Wayne came to visit this weekend. On Saturday we had a 4th of July parade. Everybody came out, decorated their bikes, strollers, wagons, and walked around the neighborhood. We even had a firetruck and police car!
