January is a cold, but fun, month.



We could only handle being in the house for so long. So we bundled up and headed out to the museum in early January. It was a cold day that even had some snow flurries. The dinosaurs, as always, were a big hit.



Another day full of snow and ice. Well, mostly ice. Kimbo and Delany spent the morning cooked up a batch of 'Wendy's' chili.

Its funny the ways that Delany plays with Merrit. Sometimes its scary, like when she tried to pick him up. Sometimes its frustrating, like when she insists on filling his crib up with toys when he's sleeping. And then, sometimes its really really cute, like when she reads to him.

To put the Christmas decorations back into storage we had to pull the Halloween decorations out. Delany took a liking to a large plastic skeleton. And you know what happens when Delany likes something: she wants to read to it.

Merrit's personality is starting to come out a little bit. He loves to smile and coo, in between his naps and scream fests. We're only a few days away from being 10 weeks old.
